Chapter 6: Epilogue

On the first day of ninth grade, I was pleased to be in homeroom
with Gwen, Ezekiel, Tyler, Duncan, and Justin.

Not so pleasing was the announcement that came over the P. A. system
that morning.

Attention, high school students! We are proud to announce that
the former junior high health teacher, Mrs. Wilson, is now the
Vancouver public school system’s High Inquisitor due to her
money-saving ways this past summer!

Whoever made that decision is decidedly my enemy.
